A Franklin County judge has ruled a man who spent seven years on death row for committing two murders in 1984 was wrongfully imprisoned.79-year-old Dale Johnston was convicted of killing his stepdaughter and her fiance in Hocking County. He was freed in 1990, but needed the ruling to seek monetary damages from the state.
