An Ohio-based oil refiner is donating money and food to people recovering from Sandy. Findlay-based Marathon Petroleum plans to give $250,000 to the American Red Cross for disaster relief. The company is also donating nearly 120,000 ready-to-eat meals to Feeding America so they can be handed out to victims along the East Coast. Marathon's senior vice president of human resources Rodney Nichols says the company hopes to provide some relief to those who are recovering from storm's damage. The Red Cross announced that by Friday it had raised $117 million in donations and pledges.
