A Canal Winchester man has been convicted of taking developmentally disabled people to bars and strip clubs while billing the state for providing services to the disabled.Attorney General Mike DeWine says Marc Cox will serve five years of community control and pay 166-thousand dollars in restitution. Investigators say Cox was not an authorized care provider and billed the state using the provider information of a nonprofit Columbus organization that served the disabled individuals. Investigators say Cox also would drop off the individuals at a house to watch TV and play video games, and sometimes billed for more than 24 hours in a day.
