Appeals Court Rules For Occupy Protestors

The 8th Ohio District Court of Appeals says Cleveland's curfew ordinance, which banned people without a permit from Public Square between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., violated the First Amendment rights of Occupy Cleveland protesters. The ruling stems from a 2011 case in which Occupy protesters were arrested for violating the ordinance when they staged night time demonstrations. Cleveland Law Director Barbara Langhenry says the city is deciding whether to appeal.
