Local Community Cutting Police Service

The Delaware County community of Orange Township is cutting back on its police protection.Township officials have ended their contract with the County sheriff's office for eight deputies who provided extra protection. Officials say that will save 250-thousand-dollars, which will be used to help fund the fire department. The sheriff will provide basic services to the community.
