Cardinal To Acquire Medical Supplier

Dublin-based Cardinal Health is spending 2 billion dollars to acquire the medical supplier AssuraMed.Cardinal says the move will extend its reach to patients receiving care at  home. AssuraMed serves more than a million patients and generated sales of 1 billion dollars last year. Cardinal expects the deal to close in April.
