Council Member Sentenced For Bribery

Former Cleveland City Council member Sabra Pierce Scott has been sentenced to three years of probation for taking a bribe.Scott pleaded guilty to federal charges of accepting a two-thousand-dollar bribe from a contractor in exchange for help landing a project in her ward.
