Student Posts Threatening Video

A former Gahanna-Lincoln High School student says he was having a bad day when he pleaded guilty Monday to charges of posting an online video prosecutors considered threatening. 17-year old Spencer Pearson, currently a student at the ECOT online school, faces up to 90 days in juvenile detention when sentenced on May 10th. In the video an ominous voice criticized other Gahanna-Lincoln students and hinted at future developments, although no specific threat was made. Pearson was arrested in September after police tracked several tweets and videos to a computer in his home. He has been released from house arrest while awaiting sentencing but is on a 7 p.m. curfew.
