Columbus, Cincinnati Hosting Weekend Running Events

A record number of runners will hit the streets of Columbus tomorrow for the tenth annual Capital City Half Marathon. 14-thousand people are registered to participate in the 13-mile run and related events. More than 30-thousand people will hit the streets of Cincinnati this weekend for the Flying Pig Marathon. The marathon, half-marathon and other races take place Sunday. Security will be heightened at both events in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.
