Columbus police have filed departmental charges against a lieutenant for falsifying overtime records. Lieutenant Troy Casner will meet next month with Police Chief Kim Jacobs to explain why he allegedly fudged numbers on nine overtime slips. Casner is also under fire for allegedly claiming to supervise investigations without being at the scene. The internal probe began when a sergeant submitted a letter to Jacobs in September that questioned three overtime slips.
