Lawmaker Seeks To Prevent Money Laundering At Casinos

An Ohio lawmaker wants the state's four casinos to collect and save photos of each customer redeeming winnings for cash. Republican State Senator Bill Coley says his proposal will allow law enforcement to crack down on money laundering. The Ohio Casino Control Commission says no one has been arrested or prosecuted for money laundering at Ohio's casinos. Coley talks about his proposal with ML Schultze of member station WKSU in Kent.

The casino commission already has broad powers to approve new rules and is not currently considering instituting Coley's idea.
