Columbus Woman Beaten By Grandson Passes Away

Upgraded charges are pending against a Columbus man following the death of his 90-year-old grandmother. Columbus police say Annarea McCray died Wednesday, a week after she sustained serious injuries when beaten by 41-year-old John Spindler. Police say McCray was beaten after she tried to break up a fight between Spindler and his mother.
