Estate Caretaker Sentenced To Prison For Theft

The former caretaker of the Muskingum County estate of Longaberger basket company owner Tami Longaberger will serve six years in prison for stealing 1.5 million dollars from the facility. 53-year-old Douglas Thompson must also make restitution. Prosecutors say he used the money stolen from the 10 million dollar estate to purchase vacations and gifts for friends and family.
