Columbus Man Drowns In North Carolina

Funeral arrangements are pending for a Columbus man who died while pulling his two sons from the Atlantic Ocean in North Carolina. Authorities say 39-year-old Andy Clegg went into the water this past weekend to rescue the nine- and eleven-year-old boys when they started having trouble swimming to shore. Clegg reportedly suffered a medical emergency and went under after saving the boys. He died Monday at a hospital.
