Ohio Crime Lab Processing Evidence In Castro Case

Ohio crime lab employees are working overtime to test evidence in the Ariel Castro case.

Attorney General Mike DeWine says more than 170 pieces of evidence have been tested so far for DNA, fingerprints and gunpowder. The items were taken from the home where Castro allegedly held Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight captive for a decade. The women were freed in May. Castro pleaded not guilty Wednesday to nearly one-thousand counts of kidnapping, rape and aggravated murder.
