Candidate Approved For City Council Ballot
The Franklin County Board of Elections has approved adding independent Columbus City Council candidate Nicholas Schneider to the November ballot, after his friend John Lively dropped out of the race last week. Schneider lost in the May primary election. Six people are running for three seats on council. Democratic incumbents Troy Miller, Eileen Paley and Priscilla Tyson are being challenged by Schneider and Republicans Greg Lawson and Brian Bainbridge.
