Columbus Official Finalist For Cincinnati Police Chief Job

Deputy Columbus Police Chief Jeff Blackwell is one of four finalists to become the top cop in Cincinnati. Officials have narrowed to four the list of 30 applicants to replace Chief James Craig. Other candidates include Interim Police Chief Paul Humphries and Deputy Chiefs from Mesa, Arizona and the New York-New Jersey Port Authority. Interviews are scheduled to begin in the coming days.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
