Woman Charged In Alleged Cancer Hoax

Bond is set at 50 thousand dollars for a Utica woman charged with falsely claiming her son has cancer in order to pick up money from donations. Licking County prosecutors say 31-year-old Emily Creno conned the community into believing the 4-year-old had cancer and collected money for treatment between November and last May. Utica police arrested her after a doctor determined the boy is healthy.
