Deliberations Begin In Case Of Robbery Victim Shot By Police

Jury deliberations begin today in the trial of an alleged burglar who is charged with causing a police officer to kill the robbery victim. David O'Neal allegedly broke into a Fairfield County apartment while armed last year, but lost the weapon in a struggle with Destin Thomas. Prosecutors say that's when a Columbus police officer shot and killed Thomas, not knowing he was the resident and not the suspect.
