Westerville Police Say Man Killed By Officer Was Armed

Westerville Police say an officer shot and killed a motorist who pulled a gun during a traffic stop early Monday. Police say an officer pulled over 55-year-old John Montgomery on Polaris Parkway and Montgomery was shot after exiting the vehicle with a gun in his hand. The unnamed officer is on paid administrative leave while the shooting is investigated.
