Columbus police officials have identified the three officers who shot and killed a man at a Far West Side apartment complex early Sunday. Officials say Sergeant John Frenz and Officers Dustin McKee and Don Alderman fired at 31-year-old Jason White, who they say lunged at the officers with a knife in the Saddlebrook Apartment complex near Hilliard-Rome and Roberts roads. White’s family told police he was battling a mental illness.
