CCS Bus Driver Charged With Drunken Driving

A Columbus City Schools bus driver has been suspended after being arrested for driving drunk with kids on board. Columbus police have charged 51-year-old Tia Denton with drunken driving, child endangering and having an open container. Denton was arrested yesterday after she was two hours late dropping off Southwood Elementary School students. Witnesses say Denton missed assigned bus stops and drove erratically.
