Cincinnati Mayor Proposes Streetcar Compromise

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley has backed off his plans to stop the city's 133 million dollar streetcar project. Cranley says he'll agree to complete the project by the end of 2016 if supporters find a way to pay for the estimated 4 million dollars in annual operating costs. Streetcar supporter Ryan Messer, who is organizing an effort to put the issue before voters, calls the proposal a good first step.
