A Pataskala man has pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge connected to the theft of almost $90,000 worth of equipment from a veterans medical center. U.S. Attorney Carter Stewart says Curtis Clark III entered his guilty plea today to one count of interstate transportation of stolen property. Generators and welding equipment were taken from the Veterans Affairs medical center in Chillicothe in October 2011. The items were later found in a West Virginia storage garage. Stewart says the investigation led to the 48-year-old Clark, a patient at the hospital. He says Clark admitted to knowing who stole the equipment and helping transport the items to sell in West Virginia.
