Treasurer To Leave Columbus District This Summer

Columbus City Schools Treasurer Penny Rucker announced her resignation at last night's Board of Education meeting.  

Rucker has been with the district since April 2009. She plans to remain on the job through the end of June to give the district time to find a replacement. Rucker offered few specifics on why she's leaving. The board will now begin a nationwide search.
