Internal Report On Officer-Involved Shootings Released

A Columbus Police investigative report shows five officers fired 194 shots at an armed homicide suspect and his girlfriend who led them on a chase from Clintonville to downtown Columbus last May. 24-year-old Emmanuel Gatewood and 21-year-old Kourtney Hahn were killed. Officers Andrew Ross, Kyle Andrews, David Salsgiver, Patrick Daugherty and Craig Haller all fired their weapons. A Franklin County grand jury cleared the officers of wrongdoing, but they await a determination by the Columbus Police Firearms Review Board as to whether they acted within Division policy.
