No Pay Hikes For UA Schools Classified Workers

The Upper Arlington school board yesterday approved a new contract with classified employees. The deal contains no salary increases, but will require workers to pay 15 percent more for their health and dental insurance coverage. The union approved the deal over the weekend. The district promised voters who approved a levy request last fall it would cut 4.5 million dollars from its budget through 2017.
