CCS Student Suspended For Pointing Finger At Classmate's Head

The principal of Devonshire Alternative Elementary School in Columbus says she suspended a 10-year-old boy for three days last week for pretending his finger was a gun and pointing it at another student's head. The fifth-grader says he was kidding around. But Columbus City Schools spokesperson Jeff Warner says principal Patricia Price has warned students about pretend gun play numerous times this year. The boy's father says the suspension is not warranted.
