Former Buckeye Pleads Guilty In Plea Bargain

Former Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby pleaded guilty today to an amended charge of physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence, as part of a plea deal.He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, which will be suspended if he attends an intervention program. He was also fined 375 dollars. Columbus police cited the 21-year-old Roby on April 20th in the Arena district on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence. Police say Roby failed a field sobriety test, but a breathalyzer showed his blood-alcohol level was below the legal limit. Roby, a possible first round pick in next month's NFL draft, did not comment in court. A court appearance scheduled for last week was moved to today.
