Charges Expected Today Out Of Dayton VA Shooting

New York Daily News

Dayton Police say charges are expected to be filed today against a local Veterans Affairs hospital retiree who allegedly shot and wounded a hospital employee during a struggle. Police Chief Richard Biehl says 59-year-old suspect Neil Moore is in custody following Monday's shooting of 61-year-old Paul Burnside in a basement break room at the facility.

Biehl and center spokesperson Ted Froats say Burnside is a housekeeping aide who started in 1998, while Moore worked in housekeeping for 27 years before retiring last October.
