Gambling Proceeds To Fund Back Child Support Payments

Ohio could follow the lead of other states in seizing gambling winnings from parents owing back child-support. Under a bill being considered by the Ohio Senate, larger winnings that must be reported to the Internal Revenue Service could be held to pay back child-support. The legislation passed the House last month.
