The state has launched a website designed to make it easier to report cases of suspected fraud in Medicaid, food assistance programs and other social services.
The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services says a small percentage of benefits are believed to be fraudulently accepted. Officials say users of the state site may give names, addresses and other details about suspected fraud cases or report them anonymously. People also have the option of reporting potential fraud cases in unemployment compensation, publicly-funded child care and cash assistance programs.
