Section Of Ohio Roadway Named For Slain Soldier

A portion of a state highway has been named for a fallen U.S. Army soldier. A portion of State Route 55 between Troy and Casstown is now the Private First Class Jeffrey Rice Memorial Highway. The Troy native was killed in 2012 while sweeping the countryside in Afghanistan for roadside bombs.
