Ohio State University paid former president Gordon Gee 6 million dollars last year, making him the highest paid chief executive of a public university in the country. The "Chronicle of Higher Education" also reports new president Michael Drake will receive an 800-thousand-dollar base salary with incentives that will push his compensation over one-million-dollars. That is lower than the compensation for the school's athletic director and head football coach.
