Careless Smoking Blamed For East Columbus House Fire

Columbus fire officials say a man is hospitalized in critical condition after being injured in a fire yesterday on the East side. 63-year-old Floyd Morris is being treated for smoke inhalation following the blaze at his home in the six hundred block of Napoleon Avenue. Firefighters say the blaze started when Morris began smoking while using an oxygen tank.
