Unsafe Levels Of E.Coli Found In Local Watershed

wikipedia

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency says water in the Upper Scioto Watershed contains unsafe levels of E.coli. The agency says the amount of bacteria is more than two times above recommended federal safety levels. The agency says the bacteria came from farm fertilizer and wastewater treatment facilities. The agency recommends more inspection and monitoring of sewer and septic systems to keep the water clean. The watershed is one of the sources of Columbus' drinking water.
