Fairfield County Sheriff's deputies say the driver of a tanker truck was injured this morning when his vehicle overturned near the intersection of state Route 188 and Royalton Road in Hocking Township. Deputies say 40-year-old Jason Smith had trouble negotiating a curve. He is being treated at a Columbus hospital. The truck was carrying what state EPA officials say was a non-toxic, non-hazardous fertilizer. Cleanup is underway.
