Athens County prosecutors say former Chauncey Police Chief Charles Wachenschwanz has been indicted on seven counts, including racketeering, drug and weapons charges. Prosecutors say Wachenschwanz is one of four people charged for their roles in a prolific drug ring that has operated out of Glouster for several years. Among those indicted is his wife Patsy, who is charged with child endangering. Prosecutors expect more charges will be filed.
