Franklin County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the discovery of a man's body near West Broad Street early this morning. Deputies say the man was shot to death, and a citizen spotted the body near the intersection of Oxley Road and Palmetto Street. Deputies have not released his name, but say he had been working on a Palmetto Street home. Deputies are trying to get a warrant to search the home.
