Columbus Woman Charged With Running Woman Down With Car

Columbus police say a central Ohio woman ran down an acquaintance with a car during an argument, causing serious injuries. 23-year-old Laquisha Haskins of Columbus was jailed on charges of felonious assault, after she drove into 23-year-old Kandace Ellis. A police report says they were arguing in the car at about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday when it was stopped and both got out. The report says that when Ellis began walking to the sidewalk, Haskins got into the car, made a U-turn and then purposefully drove into Ellis. The hospital didn't have an updated condition for Ellis on Wednesday.  Haskins was jailed and has a court appearance scheduled for Thursday.
