A Pickaway County man convicted of shooting and killing his grandfather has been sentenced to life in prison. 30-year-old Shaun Lawson went to the Orient home of 84-year-old Thomas Whitson on March 29 to steal guns. His attorney says Lawson has bipolar disorder, depression and anti-social personality disorder. Three others face trial in the case. A fifth defendant was sentenced to seven years in prison.
