Columbus Man Sentenced For Killing His Mother

A Columbus man was sentenced this week to life in prison for stabbing and killing his mother in February of last year. 20-year-old Robert Lindsey killed his 41-year-old mother Latonia Banner during a confrontation at their home on the Northeast side. The jury rejected Lindsey's claim that he acted in self-defense because she tried to harm him.
