The attorney for an Ohio National Guard Major has entered a not guilty plea to updated charges that his client sexually abused three adopted daughters and a stepdaughter and sent a fourth adopted daughter out of state and threatened the remaining children with a similar fate to silence them. The attorney for Jean Kruse entered the plea Thursday, leading to the cancellation of today's arraignment on a new 35-count indictment. Kruse and his wife previously pleaded not guilty to charges of abusing the children in their Marysville home.
