A white Uniontown woman and her partner are suing a Chicago-area sperm bank after she became pregnant from a donation from an African-American man instead of a white man as she'd intended. Jennifer Cramblett says she and partner Amanda Zinkon carefully examined donor profiles at Midwest Sperm Bank to find a match based on physical characteristics, education and family history. Cramblett says her 2-year old daughter will now face prejudice from her family and residents of the village, where the population is 98 percent white. The lawsuit seeks more than 50 thousand dollars in damages to allow the family to move to a more ethnically diverse area.
