Officials Meet With Chrysler Reps About Toledo Jeep Production

A group led by Toledo Mayor Michael Collins, Ohio Governor John Kasich and other state officials met with Chrysler officials Thursday. The automaker is considering moving Jeep production out of Toledo because the components needed to make a new line of Jeep that meets new federal fuel-efficiency standards make the plant obsolete. Collins says no decision was made concerning production, but if plant operations are moved elsewhere, another vehicle could be built in Toledo.
