The Ohio House has approved a Senate-passed bill allowing hunters to use silencers and relaxing some rules for concealed handgun licenses. Republican State Representative and former Grove City Mayor Cheryl Grossman says the measure is designed to improve hunter safety.
The bill reduces the number of training hours needed to obtain a concealed handgun license and makes it easier for those who have a license in another state to get one here. Gun control advocates say the bill would allow more people to carry concealed weapons.
