cca.jpeg

A spokesperson for the federal Bureau of Prisons says a contract with a private prison in Youngstown for low-level offenders will not be renewed. Inmates at Northeast Ohio Correctional Center will be moved to private prisons in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma, owned by Florida-based GEO Group.  The Youngstown facility is owned by Tennessee-based Corrections Corporation of America.
