Plans are in the works to prevent traffic problems caused by a proposed IKEA store on Polaris Parkway. Ohio Department of Transportation officials say a four-lane road extension from Worthington Road to Gemini Parkway would be built to handle traffic from the store, which is scheduled to open at the former Polaris Amphitheater site in 2017. The plan was originally drafted to relieve I-71 traffic before a second interchange was built.
