A Hilltop man has pleaded guilty to charges of robbing six banks in four states. A sentencing date is pending for 49-year-old William McBride Junior, who stole 21 thousand dollars from the banks at gunpoint between June and August in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana. McBride was arrested in a Columbus hotel last August thanks to a tip from the public. He previously served a total of 19 years in prison for robbing six other banks.
