The Ross County Coroner has ruled the death of a pregnant Chillicothe woman a suicide. The coroner says 20-year-old Shasta Himelrick took her own life by jumping into the Scioto River in December. The amount of cocaine and oxycodone in her system were not at fatal levels. Himelrick left her family's Richmond Dale home on Christmas Day and was last seen on security video at a Chillicothe gas station the next day. Her vehicle was later recovered near a bridge along the river. Human blood and her personal belongings were found inside.
